Triduum is Latin for ‘three days’. The Triduum begins on the evening of Holy/Maundy Thursday and includes Good Friday as well as Holy Saturday; it ends on the evening of Easter Sunday.
These are the most important three days in the Christian calendar because they commemorate the death of Christ and celebrate His Resurrection. These events represent the heart and soul of Christianity as they recall our salvation through Christ.
