On Friday, December 1, 2017, Lt General Michael Flynn pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI.

Powerline has a simple explanation of the story, excerpted below (emphases mine):

News media are breathlessly reporting that Gen. Michael Flynn has agreed to plead guilty to lying to the FBI. You can read the Statement of the Offense here. The false statements alleged by the government seem rather pathetic: 1) Flynn falsely told an FBI agent that he didn’t ask the Russian ambassador to “refrain from escalating the situation in response to sanctions” the U.S. had just imposed, and 2) that he didn’t recall the ambassador subsequently telling him that the Russians had moderated their response per his request; 3) Flynn falsely said that he didn’t ask the Russian ambassador to delay or defeat a pending U.N. Security Council resolution, and 4) that the ambassador never subsequently described his country’s response to that request. (Flynn tried, unsuccessfully, to convince several members of the Security Council, including Russia, not to proceed with an anti-Israel resolution. This is to his, and President Trump’s, credit.)

That’s it, after a year of huffing and puffing. Nothing about the election, nothing about the long-awaited “collusion” between the Trump campaign and Russia. I have no idea why Flynn apparently lied to an FBI agent, assuming that he did. But the communications described in the information are exactly the sorts of contacts that a national security advisor to an incoming president should be having with foreign powers.

In short, the allegations against Flynn suggest that Robert Mueller has nothing significant against President Trump or other members of his administration.

The following statement is from President Donald Trump’s lawyer:

This happened after the election, when the president-elect’s transition team initially contacts foreign governments. Obama also did this in speaking with then-Mexican president Felipe Calderon on January 12, 2009, just days before his first inauguration.

In fact, it is alleged that Obama’s campaign team met with Hamas and Iranian contacts in 2008, during his campaign. In March 2008 — also during the primary campaign — it emerged they were in touch with Colombia’s FARC.

ABC’s Brian Ross reported on the Flynn guilty plea, saying that the general was in touch with the Russians when Trump was a ‘candidate’. As Ross’s faulty story broke, the markets fell slightly for an hour on Friday. Ross did not issue a retraction until hours later:

This is what Rush Limbaugh had to say about Brian Ross, who has twisted the truth before:

Later on Friday, The Hill reported that CNN’s Jim Acosta — another questionable reporter — said White House sources told him the Obama administration approved Flynn’s communications before they took place. Also note that Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner is also mentioned:

The White House said on Friday that it was the Obama administration that authorized former national security adviser Michael Flynn’s contacts with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak during President Trump’s transition, according to CNN.

Flynn pleaded guilty on Friday to lying to the FBI about his contacts with Kislyak in the month before Trump took office, the first current or former Trump White House official brought down by special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russia’s election meddling.

Court records indicate that his communications with Kislyak were directed by a Trump transition official, with multiple news outlets reporting that official was Trump’s son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner.

“They are saying here at the White House that Flynn’s conversations with Sergey Kisylak were quote ‘authorized’ by the Obama administration,” CNN correspondent Jim Acosta said.

“We should point out, that is something that we have not heard before in terms of a defense from this White House,” he said.

The White House did not immediately respond to The Hill’s request for comment.

Of course, James Clapper, Obama’s Director of National Intelligence — and no friend of the Trump administration — said the White House claim was ‘absurd’.

Regardless, Flynn’s conversations happened after the election — not before, as some of the Obama campaign’s did.

Acosta also filed a CNN story wherein a ‘senior White House official’ told him:

“There is no anxiety with Flynn and about what he might say.”

The President “feels sorry for Flynn… I think he likes Flynn,” this official said, adding the Trump is “thinking about Flynn and his family.”

As I write on Saturday (GMT), it seems likely that this story will run and run all weekend long. Trump detractors worldwide will enjoy this, such as ex-FBI director James Comey:

He was quickly rebuked by former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino:

More reports emerged from ABC, NBC (and other news outlets). From ZeroHedge (emphases in the original):

ABC news takes it a step further, reporting from an anonymous source that “Donald Trump directed him to make contact with the Russians, initially as a way to work together to fight ISIS in Syria.” – though NBC News reports it was Trump’s son-in-law and advisor Jared Kushner.

I have already gone into the major points of the story thus far, but two of ZeroHedge‘s ‘observations and takeaways’ are worth noting:

  • If Flynn’s contact with Russia was related to “collusion” in regards to election meddling, he would be pleading guilty to an espionage conspiracy, not the “process crime” of lying to the FBI..
  • If Flynn were to now drop some new bombshell about greater Russian collusion, he would have lied to the FBI twice.

The article asks why Flynn would have lied and offers these possibilities:

Why would Flynn lie about his contact with the Russians in late January, five days after the Inauguration? Was it because the nation had been whipped into an anti-Russia frenzy? Or, as some have suggested, does the rabbit hole go much deeper and there are aspects of the Trump-Russia story that haven’t been made public yet? Again, if that were known, Flynn would be pleading guilty to a much more serious crime.

Ultimately:

That said, Flynn is facing a whopping six months in prison and a fine of up to $9,500 for lying to the Special Counsel.

The article concludes:

So – unless there’s more than meets the eye, it appears that the coverup is far greater than the crime in regards to Flynn’s decision to lie to the FBI. And whatever the outcome, the hard bounce in the S&P 500 would seem to suggest this is perhaps another nothingburger and not quite the end of Drumpf.

What follows is part of Imperator_Rex’s analysis (two name corrections are at the bottom of his thread, but I have just used ‘Obama/Said officials’). Emphases mine below:

5. The plea offenses are known as ‘process crimes’, in other words non-compliance with the technicalities of being in an incoming administration.

6. In return for the plea, Flynn will FULLY CO-OPERATE with Mueller’s SC. That’s what this is all about. And it’s not heading in the direction of the Clinton/DNC Trump-Russia lie, that much is certain.

7. To recap : in January 1017, General Flynn didn’t tell the truth to Jim Comey & Andrew McCabe’s clownshow of an FBI, about meeting the Russian ambassador.

Thank God he didn’t.

8. To clarify, an incumbent administration communicating with foreign states, while a lame duck POTUS runs out his or her term, is commonplace & happens all the time. As you’d expect it to be.

9. However, the FBI under Comey & McCabe was a corrupted organization, which Flynn knew well. IMO he did the RIGHT thing not telling them about the communications with the Russian ambassador. It would have been leaked, with the intent of bringing down Trump.

11. [Obama officials] used unmasked intel under a FISA warrant (probably based on the Fusion GPS dossier) to ID Flynn and then leaked it to WaPo, a crime.

[Said officials] also tried to ambush Trump by saying they warned him about Flynn.

It didn’t work. Trump was inaugurated.

12. Trump likely became fully aware of what they did in February, but definitely by at least May 8, 2017 …

13. After his ‘resignation’, Flynn offered to tell his ‘story’ in a public Congressional hearing, in exchange for immunity. This was denied. The last thing those snakes wanted was for Flynn to reveal all on live television.

14. General Flynn knows everything about Obama & Clinton. That’s because he was the Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, serving from July 2012 to his retirement from the military in August 2014.

18. This plea deal allows Flynn to provide testimony under oath, as well as 24/7 ‘assistance’, to Mueller about EVERYTHING he knows. But it won’t be about the Drumpf-Russia lie. It will be about other things

20. Ignore the crowing of the hysterical MSM today. They have been consistently wrong about everything, because they are basing it all on the Trump-Russia lie.

They are 100% wrong on this, too.

22. Remember these words from General Flynn’s lawyers in March, 2017:

‘General Flynn certainly has a story to tell, and he very much wants to tell it, should the circumstances permit’.

The circumstances now permit.

The end.

Some evidence that Imperator_Rex could be right comes from Hillary Clinton’s campaign chief John Podesta’s answers to questions from an audience at Duke University on Wednesday, November 29:

The Duke Chronicle reported his answer to a student who asked about Pizzagate and his ties to Russia:

“This is how the alt-right does fake news,” Podesta said. “It’s personally painful because a lot of this is really total bullsh*t. My family and I have been put through this Pizzagate bullsh*t now for a year—which has totally been debunked, by the way.”

“My relationship with the company that you talked about, that was based in Boston, an American innovative company—I totally disclosed [my relationship with it]. Fox [News] has had to correct that twice,” he added in response to Kiprilov’s question. “I could go down the rest of your list. I have no relationship to the Podesta Group and haven’t for 15 years. You can stick with it. The one thing I will tell you is you have a lot of company on Twitter and on the internet, so have at it.”

The student told the Duke Chronicle (emphases mine):

“Pizzagate was a conspiracy theory, but the other allegations, I don’t know,” Kiprilov said. “If he had been a bit calmer and more mature in answering the questions, I would have been satisfied. I was disappointed that he got so angered and triggered by my question.”

A self-identified Republican who says she is not part of the alt-right, Kiprilov said she felt that Podesta misunderstood the nature of her question.

“I did not imply that I believed any of this,” she said. “I think he immediately assumed I did, so he lumped me with the alt-right crowd, which was very unfortunate that he jumped to that conclusion.”

iBankCoin reported (emphases in the original):

In response to the next question from an audience member about how John feels about his brother Tony Podesta of the Podesta Group being under FBI investigation, John Podesta made sure to distance himself from Tony as he stammered through his response:

“Look I think my brother, uh, uh, A) I’m not my brother. Does it worry me? You know, I, I, It’s, it’s painful. I mean his firm, uh, uh, after many years in business, uh, uh, un-unraveled as a result of, I think of the fact that it was under investigation,” adding that he thinks Tony’s involvement with [Paul] Manafort’s partner Rick Gates and Congressman Vin Weber (R-MN) was ill advised.

Just to be clear, Paul Manafort’s indictment has nothing to do with the Trump campaign, but for Ukraine-related work during his time with the now-defunct Podesta Group.

Podesta then answered a question about Hillary’s defeat in 2016. This is an amazing answer:

Before the night was over, Podesta answered questions about Russia’s effect of the election, stating that while he didn’t think Russia’s efforts to interfere with voting on election day succeeded, bots and Facebook ads spreading fake news did.

Wow.

iBankCoin rightly concludes:

Or, maybe Russian internet bots, Pokémon Go and Facebook ads promoting liberal activism are perhaps the lamest possible excuses for why Hillary Clinton lost the election.

If Mueller finds nothing after his investigation, it will then be up to Attorney General Jeff ‘Sleepy’ Sessions to act like an Attorney General — tough. That is unlikely to happen, however. The Gateway Pundit has a scathing article on Sleepy, saying that he is actually bringing down the Trump administration through his recusal from campaign investigations — which enabled Robert Mueller’s appointment as Special Counsel — and ineffectiveness with regard to the Swamp.

Technically, Sessions probably did have to recuse. If so, he never should have accepted the post. Trump, apparently, did not know until after the fact.

More articles like that and Trump’s base will clamour for Sessions to resign. He never should have taken the job if he planned on recusing almost immediately, then getting a Democrat to be his deputy.

Trump will have to think quickly and carefully about resolving that situation soon.

UPDATE — On December 2, Fox News reported that ABC’s Brian Ross was suspended for four weeks without pay for his story on Flynn:

ABC News announced Saturday that Chief Investigative Correspondent Brian Ross would be suspended for four weeks without pay over a botched “exclusive” about former national security adviser Michael Flynn.

During a live “special report” Friday morning, Ross reported that Flynn would testify that Donald Trump had ordered him to make contact with Russians about foreign policy while he was still a candidate. The report raised the specter of Trump’s impeachment and sent the stock market plummeting.

Later in the day, ABC issued a “clarification” to Ross’s report, saying that Trump’s alleged directive came after he’d been elected president. Ross himself appeared on “World News Tonight,” several hours after the initial report, to clarify his error.

To be continued tomorrow.

Despite appearances and horrific news stories from the first weekend of November 2017, the big picture is that President Donald Trump and the American people continue to win — as he would say — ‘big league’.

On November 5, American Intelligence Media posted an article, ‘Trump Conquers the New World Order‘. An excerpt follows which takes aim at Bush I:

Folks, we are winning.

The White House mafia bosses that have come after Daddy Bush have all kowtowed to George senior as though he were King George of England. His deep cover C. I. A. leadership role in the assassination of J.F.K. has been thoroughly exposed as has his fleecing of the U.S.S.R. via his C.I.A. covert activities, the assassination attempt on Ronald Reagan, the Iran/Contra Scandal, the attacks on 911, and many, many other crimes that the corrupt FBI, DOJ, and Congress has refused to honestly investigate and swiftly prosecute.

They thought their evil would outlast We the People. But the Bush-Obama-Clinton criminal cartel has failed. Time is on our side, not theirs. Their entrenched and corrupt bureaucracies, agencies, and covert operations will be exposed, scaled back, defunded, and shut down over Trump’s eight years in office. The criminals will age, wither, and die, leaving only the carcass of their sins to be judged by history and a far higher power than our own.

The rest of the article looks at several policy stances Trump should adopt to ensure that, once made great again, America stays that way.

Most people are wrapped up in the Texas church shooting on Sunday, November 5. Rightly so, but highly significant things took place on a broader scale.

Antifa — November 4

The violent November 4 events that Antifa and similar groups planned were a damp squib. At the most, a few dozen showed up in major cities across the country.

One of three things must have happened. Money could have dried up; unpaid protesters do not attend these events. Or, they are afraid to be charged with an imprisonable offence; some protesters arrested on Inauguration Day are pending trial. The third possibility is that Antifa will start terrorising small towns and rural areas in ‘lone wolf’ attacks. I put the words in quotes, because nothing these days happens without involvement from an invisible third party. Yes, I am thinking of the Texas church massacre. Trump was right to focus on a mental problem in that case.

My sympathies go to the survivors, especially to those in church who saw their family members and friends die in cold blood. I also am praying for the pastor, away that particular day, only to discover that his cherished teenage daughter was among those who died.

Hollywood accusations

Although no new Hollywood sexual harrassment or assault claims surfaced this past weekend, the accusations that started about Harvey Weinstein in October put Kevin Spacey under scrutiny.

Spacey was still a topic of conversation in various online fora, expecially as House of Cards was cancelled after the accusation surfaced.

These accusations have people thinking about the wider sexual depravity going on in Hollywood and elsewhere. We know that the Trump administration wants to get rid of human trafficking, especially where children are involved. Hundreds of men involved in this deeply harmful business have been arrested since the inauguration in January. The low-hanging fruit is going, going, going.

Although Weinstein and Spacey are not part of that picture, accusations against them have planted an optic in the American mind about perversion and taking advantage of the innocent and vulnerable of whatever age. Americans want it stopped.

This has also opened up relevant news stories concerning powerful people in the UK and France.

The Democrats — Nancy Pelosi

On Sunday, November 5, Senator Nancy Pelosi said on CNN’s State of the Union that impeaching Trump is:

not someplace that I think we should go.

Also:

Pelosi was reportedly privately critical of an ad put out by billionaire Democratic donor Tom Steyer calling for the impeachment of Trump, with the House leader believing the key to the Democrats retaking the House in 2018 to be avoiding the distractions surrounding the White House.

Pelosi sounded Trumpian, when she said on the programme:

I believe that whatever we do, we have a responsibility to first and foremost to unify the nation.

She no doubt knows something big is about to happen.

The Democrats — Donna Brazile

Former Democratic National Committee interim chairwoman Donna Brazile has written a new book about the 2016 campaign, saying that the Democrat primary was rigged against Bernie Sanders.

She also wrote that she wanted to replace Hillary Clinton with Joe Biden.

On Sunday, she appeared on George Stephanopoulos’s programme to discuss the book:

She says she also feared for her life after Seth Rich’s murder in July 2016 in Washington, DC. Rich’s murder remains unsolved. Rich, a DNC employee and Bernie Sanders supporter at the time of his death, likely leaked emails from his workplace to WikiLeaks. Of course, anyone who brought up this possible connection last year was told they were a conspiracy theorist. Now Brazile is talking about it.

On Saturday, November 4, Hillary Clinton’s supporters quickly posted their ‘Open Letter from Hillary for America 2016‘, which says in part:

We were shocked to learn the news that Donna Brazile actively considered overturning the will of the Democratic voters by attempting to replace Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine as the Democratic Presidential and Vice Presidential nominees. It is particularly troubling and puzzling that she would seemingly buy into false Russian-fueled propaganda, spread by both the Russians and our opponent, about our candidate’s health.

Donna came in to take over the DNC at a very difficult time. We were grateful to her for doing so. She is a longtime friend and colleague of many of us and has been an important leader in our party. But we do not recognize the campaign she portrays in the book …

Finally, we are pretty tired of people who were not part of our campaign telling the world what it was like to be on the inside of our campaign and how we felt about it. We loved our candidate and each other and it remains our honor to have been part of the effort to make Hillary Clinton the 45th President of the United States.

Signatories on the letter include two names to watch for in the coming weeks: Hillary’s closest companion Huma Abedin and campaign supremo John Podesta.

Republicans — Bush père et fils

A new book about Bushes I and II, The Last Republicans by Mark K. Updegrove, discusses their disdain for Trump — and, by extension, the American people. The book hits the shelves on November 14.

On November 4, Newsweek reported:

Both former President Bushes had choice words for current President Donald Trump in a new book scheduled to be published later this month, with the elder Bush reportedly calling the billionaire commander-in-chief a “blowhard” and flatly stating he does not “like” him …

Furthermore, both ex-presidents admitted they did not vote for Trump. The elder Bush pulled the lever for Democrat Hillary Clinton while the younger told Updegrove he voted for “none of the above.”

George W. Bush took umbrage with Trump’s divisive brand of political machinery, a common accusation the current president faced along the campaign trail as throughout his first year in office.

“You can either exploit the anger, incite it,” he said, “or you can come up with ideas to deal with it.”

Trump ran as an anti-establishment Republican, made famous by his “drain the swamp” promise and slogan, and the younger Bush president admitted his brother and former GOP presidential candidate Jeb “didn’t fit with the mood.”

“If you’re angry with the powers that be you’re angry with the so-called establishment,“ Bush said, “and there’s nothing more established than having a father and brother that have been president.”

Don’t we know it!

And aren’t we glad they are gone!

Normally, as the article explains, former presidents do not comment on a sitting president. The Bushes had nothing to say about Obama during his eight years in office but, now that Trump is in, the gloves are off.

The Republican Party is technically Trump’s now to shape and define as he sees fit.

Incidentally, Jeb!, Bush II’s brother, never had a chance in 2016 and spent a lot of time extolling his mother Barbara to the point that Trump said during one of the Republican primary debates:

Maybe she should be running, then.

Democrats — the Podesta brothers

It will be interesting to see what happens to John and Tony Podesta. On October 30, Tony resigned from the Podesta Group, a powerful lobbying and public affairs firm in DC.

In August 2016, an article in the Huffington Post discussed the Podesta Group’s activities. Medea Benjamin’s article, ‘Hillary Clinton, The Podesta Group And The Saudi Regime: A Fatal Menage A Trois’ was updated on September 1, 2017.

It begins as follows:

If I told you that Democratic Party lobbyist Tony Podesta, whose brother John Podesta chairs Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, is a registered foreign agent on the Saudi government’s payroll, you’d probably think I was a Trump-thumping, conspiratorial nutcase. But it’s true.

The lobby firm created by both Tony and John Podesta in 1988 receives $140,000 a month from the Saudi government, a government that beheads nonviolent dissidents, uses torture to extract forced confessions, doesn’t allow women to drive, and bombs schools, hospitals and residential neighborhoods in neighboring Yemen.

The Podesta Group’s March 2016 filing, required under the Foreign Agents Registration Act of 1938, shows that Tony Podesta himself oversees the Saudi account. At the same time, Tony Podesta is also a top campaign contributor and bundler for Hillary Clinton. So while one brother runs the campaign, the other brother funds it with earnings that come, in part, from the Saudis.

John and Tony Podesta have been heavyweights in DC insider politics for decades. John Podesta served as President Bill Clinton’s chief of staff, founded the influential DC think tank Center for American Progress (which regularly touts Saudi “reforms”), and was counselor to President Obama. Tony Podesta was dubbed by the New York Times as “one of Washington’s biggest players“ whose clients “are going to get a blueprint for how to succeed in official Washington.”

The Clinton Foundation has had a close relationship with the Saudis:

The Podesta-Clinton-Saudi connection should be seen in light of the recent media exposes revealing the tawdry pay-to-play nature of the Clinton Foundation. Top on the list of foreign donors to the foundation is Saudi Arabia, which contributed between $10 million and $25 million.

For that, the Saudis received arms and military aircraft deals while Hillary was Secretary of State.

The article concludes:

The Podesta Group should be blacklisted from contributing to Clinton’s campaign until they drop the monarchy as a client and return their ill-gotten gains. If Hillary Clinton wants to be a meaningful symbol for human rights and women’s empowerment, her campaign must live up to the values she claims to represent, and this would be one step in the right direction.

The Clinton Foundation and the Middle East

On August 21, 2016, the New York Times published ‘Foundation Ties Bedevil Hillary Clinton’s Presidential Campaign’.

Excerpts follow:

The Clinton Foundation has accepted tens of millions of dollars from countries that the State Department — before, during and after Mrs. Clinton’s time as secretary — criticized for their records on sex discrimination and other human-rights issues. The countries include Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Brunei and Algeria …

… Mr. Trump has seized on emails released over the past several weeks from Mrs. Clinton’s tenure as secretary of state, in which a handful of donors are mentioned.

Some emails and other records described donors seeking and in some cases obtaining meetings with State Department officials. None showed Mrs. Clinton making decisions in favor of any contributors, but her allies fear that additional emails might come out and provide more fodder for Mr. Trump.

Craig Minassian, a spokesman for the foundation, said the decision to forgo corporate and foreign money had nothing to do with the emails. The foundation will continue to raise money from American individuals and charities …

But Tom Fitton, the president of Judicial Watch, a conservative group that has sued to obtain records from Mrs. Clinton’s time at the State Department, said that “the damage is done” …

A Bloomberg poll in June showed that 72 percent of voters said it bothered them either a lot or a little that the Clinton Foundation took money from foreign countries while Mrs. Clinton was secretary of state. In a CNN/ORC International Poll the same month, 38 percent of voters said Mr. Clinton should completely step down from the foundation, while 60 percent said he should be able to continue working with the foundation if his wife became president. Mr. Clinton said Thursday he would leave the foundation’s board if Mrs. Clinton won.

Trump is sitting on more than Hillary’s emails right now. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson must know a lot. Live action is surely coming Hillary’s way soon.

Saudi Arabia’s purge of princes

On Sunday, October 29, news emerged that Jared Kushner, President Trump’s son-in-law, had returned from a ‘secret trip’ to Saudi Arabia.

The Washington Examiner reported:

The trip to the Middle Eastern country marks the third time President Trump’s son-in-law has visited this year …

“The Senior Advisor to the President, the Deputy National Security Advisor for Strategy, and the Special Representative for International Negotiations recently returned from Saudi Arabia,” a White House official told Politico in a statement. “The Senior Advisor has also been in frequent contact with officials from Israel, the Palestinian Authority, Egypt, United Arab Emirates, Jordan and Saudi Arabia” …

The White House did not share who Kushner met with while in Saudi Arabia, though he has a good relationship with crown prince Mohammad Bin Salman, who is also in his 30s.

Trump has called for a peace deal between Israel and Palestine. Kushner, who is Jewish, has worked to broker an agreement between both parties.

On November 4, Trump tweeted:

But, it appears that, before peace or business deals could be made, something had to happen in Saudi Arabia:

This is unheard of. The AP reports that the House of Saud normally deals with such matters discreetly. Yet, those arrested are being held at the Ritz-Carlton in Riyadh, which has no rooms available until December 1. Other five-star hotels were also reported to be holding detainees.

The AP report says that the arrests are a clear sign that King Salman is giving Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman full permission to reform Saudi Arabia.

The AP also stated it was unclear whether Trump knew beforehand of the purge of princes. Trump had spoken to King Salman earlier on Saturday but the White House made no mention of the impending arrests.

My gut sense is that the crown prince is, in many ways, a younger version of the US president.

There is also reason to think that other countries will undergo a massive purge, with the United States being next. However, that is a subject for a future post.

To date, no evidence exists of President Donald Trump’s notional collusion with Russia during the 2016 campaign.

Earlier this week, Trump tweeted:

He was referring to the spurious dossier on his alleged activities in Russia, which emerged in January before his inauguration.

One year ago, Hillary wished herself a happy birthday:

(Be sure to read the comments to that tweet: both Hillary and the Bush family shut down investigations into paedophilia. You will also discover why Chelsea doesn’t go to church.)

This year, Julian Assange retweeted the birthday greeting.

2015: Dems’ Pied Piper plan

Hillary was certain she would win. This is because the Democratic National Committee (DNC) had a campaign plan involving what they called Pied Piper Candidates from the Republican Party.

The plan was revealed in the Podesta emails that WikiLeaks dumped last year. The email number is 1120 and it is dated April 23, 2015. The email came from someone on Hillary’s campaign team:

Below please find the agenda for tomorrow morning’s 8:00 AM ET Strategy Call.

There is a memo for the DNC discussion attached to this email for your review ahead of the call.

AGENDA:

1. Clinton Cash update

2. DNC plan (see attached memo)

3. Phones / Pool plan

Thank you!

The Daily Caller has a link to the memo (PDF).

This is what it says about Pied Piper Candidates:

2016: Paul Manafort, Trump campaign manager

When Trump was the last man standing during the Republican primary season early in May 2016, he still needed to ensure he got delegates at the party’s convention in July.

In order to get the delegates, he appointed a new campaign manager in June: Paul Manafort. Manafort is a political consultant — a ‘fixer’ — as well as a lawyer and lobbyist. He has had clients in the United States and internationally. He has worked on several GOP presidential campaigns, dating back to the 1970s with Gerald Ford.

A few weeks after Manafort completed his work in securing the necessary number of Republican delegates for Trump — an arduous task, by the way — news emerged about work he had done in Ukraine. Thinking it would cast a shadow on Trump’s campaign, Manafort resigned. Kellyanne Conway replaced him.

This year, Manafort has been one of the people investigated by Robert Mueller and his team for Russian collusion. From Wikipedia (emphases mine):

On January 19, 2017, the eve of the Trump’s presidential inauguration, it was reported that Manafort was under active investigation by multiple federal agencies including the Central Intelligence Agency, National Security Agency, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Director of National Intelligence and the financial crimes unit of the Treasury Department.[85] Investigations were said to be based on intercepted Russian communications as well as financial transactions.[86] It was later confirmed that Manafort was wiretapped by the FBI “before and after the [2016] election … including a period when Manafort was known to talk to President Donald Trump.” The surveillance of Manafort began in 2014, before Donald Trump announced his candidacy for President of United States.[87]

Special Counsel Robert Mueller, who was appointed on May 17, 2017 by the Justice Department to oversee the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 United States elections and related matters, took over the existing criminal probe involving Manafort.[84][9][88] On July 26, 2017, the day after Manafort’s United States Senate Select Committee on Intelligence hearing and the morning of his planned hearing before the United States Senate Committee on the Judiciary, FBI agents at Mueller’s direction conducted a “no-knock” pre-dawn raid on Manafort’s Alexandria, Virginia home, using a search warrant to seize documents and other materials, in regards to the Russian meddling in the 2016 election.[89][90] Manafort has reportedly been told by Mueller’s office prosecutors that they plan to indict him.[91]

The pre-dawn FBI raid was particularly vicious. I heard on a talk show from someone close to Manafort that his wife was scared witless, and that’s putting it mildly.

Manafort has also had to appear before two Senate committees:

In May 2017, in response to a request of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI), Manafort submitted over “300 pages of documents…included drafts of speeches, calendars and notes from his time on the campaign” to the Committee “related to its investigation of Russian election meddling”.[92] On July 25 he met privately with the committee.[93]

A congressional hearing on Russia issues, including the Trump campaign-Russian meeting, was scheduled by the Senate Committee on the Judiciary for July 26, 2017. Manafort was scheduled to appear together with Trump Jr., while Kushner was to testify in a separate closed session.[94] After separate negotiations, both Manafort and Trump Jr. met with the committee on July 26 in closed session and agreed to turn over requested documents. They are expected to testify in public eventually.[95]

Personally, I do not think Manafort has done anything wrong in connection with Trump or his campaign.

The Podesta brothers, Russia and Manafort

If you were one of my readers last year, you probably remember my mentions of John Podesta, Hillary’s campaign supremo. The Daily Caller reported in November 2016 that he wrote the memo which included the Pied Piper Candidate strategy.

John’s brother is Tony.

The two founded the Podesta Group in 1988. It went by different names until 2007, when the firm adopted its current name. The company does a lot of work in politics as well as the corporate arena, both in the US and elsewhere in the world.

Now it looks as if Paul Manafort worked for the Podesta Group a few years ago.

Wikipedia tells us:

As of October 2017, the Podesta Group is under investigation by Special Counsel Robert Mueller for potentially violating the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) in the course of its work for the ECMU. The Podesta Group was one of six lobbying firms that participated in a 2012–2014 public relations campaign organized by former Donald Trump presidential campaign, 2016 chairman Paul Manafort on behalf of the ECMU and Ukraine’s pro-Russia Party of Regions; the campaign was designed to improve Ukraine’s standing among Western audiences as a possible prelude to Ukrainian membership in the European Union (EU). A Podesta Group spokesman denied any wrongdoing.[14]

More about this below.

One wonders whether Manafort conveniently happened to work for Trump so that he would become the Pied Piper Candidate. Manafort could then resign, having done his bit for the Democrats.

It is too early to say either way.

———————————————–

On Tuesday, October 24, two big stories about Russian collusion broke. Both involve Democrats.

Tucker Carlson Tonight: Podesta Group’s ties to Russia

Fox’s Tucker Carlson Tonight team received a call from an anonymous source who said he had information about the Podesta Group, Manafort, the Clintons and Russia.

The man went to see Carlson to give him the story. Carlson’s staff fact checked names and dates. The first video talks about him and the second video features Bret Hume’s analysis to Carlson:

The Daily Caller has a summary of what Carlson discovered. Excerpts follow:

Carlson said in his opening segment that, according to a source Mueller is looking into the Podesta Group, a lobbying firm with close ties to Hillary Clinton, over spreading Russian influence in the United States during Barack Obama’s presidency.

Carlson said, “The central effort to extend Russian influence was focused on the executive branch, the Obama administration. The vehicle through which [Paul] Manafort worked for the Russians was a shell group called the European Centre for a Modern Ukraine. The group was supposedly based in Belgium but had no offices there. It had only two employees, both based in Ukraine.

Their telephone number in Brussels rang in Kiev. It was a sham, yet it had a presence in Washington. The European Centre for a Modern Ukraine was a major client of the Podesta Group. Why did the Russians choose the Podesta Group? Because both Podestas were close to the Clintons, and Hillary was then Secretary of State. She could get things done for the Podestas’ Russian clients. It was influence peddling, the most obvious kind,” he continued.

Carlson is the co-founder of The Daily Caller, by the way. Further to the story:

The Daily Caller co-founder added, “At one point, in either 2013 or early 2014, our source says a meeting was held that included both Tony Podesta and a representative of the Clinton Foundation. The explicit subject of that meeting: How to assist Uranium One, the Russian-owned company which controls 20 percent of U.S. uranium production capacity, and whose board members gave more than $100 million dollars to the Clinton Foundation. As our source put it, ‘Tony Podesta was basically part of the Clinton Foundation.’

According to Carlson, Manafort was in on the scheme.

“According to our source, Manafort was clear that Russia wanted to cultivate ties to Hillary Clinton, in the belief she was likely to become president,” he said during the segment. “These links to Hillary were apparently valuable; our source believes that the Russian money Manafort funneled to the Podesta Group greatly exceeds the roughly $1 million they were officially paid. Some of these payments, he said, could be hidden kickbacks that would be hard to trace. He described the Podesta Group’s books as a ‘treasure trove’ and highly secret. He told us the Podesta Group had no board, and all financial decisions were personally made by Tony Podesta. The Group’s employees, he said, included a person whose only official job was managing Tony Podesta’s art collection. It would be easy for such an organization to conceal financial transactions.”

Tucker was deeply unhappy that the media had not reported on this.

I think they all knew, but nearly everyone in media is a Hillary supporter, anyway. It’s much better from their perspective to rubbish Trump every day with false accusations and fake news.

Hume said that this is much bigger than Watergate and has far greater implications.

Carlson said he would continue reporting on it as he receives further information.

Washington Post: DNC paid for dossier

Returning to the aforementioned spurious dossier released in January, the Washington Post published an article, ‘Clinton campaign, DNC paid for research that led to Russia dossier’.

An excerpt follows:

The Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee helped fund research that resulted in a now-famous dossier containing allegations about President Trump’s connections to Russia and possible coordination between his campaign and the Kremlin, people familiar with the matter said.

Marc E. Elias, a lawyer representing the Clinton campaign and the DNC, retained Fusion GPS, a Washington firm, to conduct the research.

After that, Fusion GPS hired dossier author Christopher Steele, a former British intelligence officer with ties to the FBI and the U.S. intelligence community, according to those people, who spoke on the condition of anonymity.

Elias and his law firm, Perkins Coie, retained the company in April 2016 on behalf of the Clinton campaign and the DNC. Before that agreement, Fusion GPS’s research into Trump was funded by an unknown Republican client during the GOP primary.

We don’t yet know who the Republican was. UPDATE 27/10: The Republican appears to be the billionaire financing the Washington Free Beacon.

The story went viral among Trump supporters:

Bret Baier of Fox News covered it:

This was Trump’s reaction:

The former Republican governor of Arkansas — and father of Trump’s press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders — tweeted:

This brings us back to Uranium One, about which I wrote in the final weeks of the campaign. That post also includes information on Podesta and Clinton dealings with Russia.

Yes, indeed.

This tweet has a lengthy scenario of what has occurred and what might unfold. Click on the tweet to see all 61 points, many of which follow:

2. Two main narratives seem to be emerging, both disastrous for Obama or Clinton.

3. Narrative #1 – illegal spying on US citizens, FISA & the Steele Dossier.

4. Narrative #2 – giving Putin access to the US uranium market for cash, via Uranium One.

5. The two narratives may be linked by recent revelations concerning U1, but let’s consider them apart for the moment.

6. Make no mistake, what’s unfolding on both counts is unprecedented for America. And I suspect we still don’t know the half of it.

14. ‘The Steele Dossier’ now appears to be a DNC/Clinton funded operation that they also ‘loaned’ to Obama & his people. A conspiracy.

15. It was a failure for the Clinton Gang. The aim was using it to use it BEFORE the election, but no one was willing to publish it.

16. We now seem to have the DNC, Bush, Clinton campaign & the Clinton Foundation paying for it. Possibly even Comey’s FBI. And others – TBD.

17. When it failed, I think it was EITHER made available to Obama or CLinton & Obama decided to use it – for illegal spying.

18. It formed the basis of the 2nd FISA request on October 15, 2016. That led to Trump’s wiretapping allegations.

19. Obama and/or Clinton then decided to use the dossier to try and destroy Trump AFTER he was elected, by persuading BuzzFeed to publish.

20. Jan 11 was the date, clearly targeted at preventing the inauguration. It was an act of desperation – and failed.

21. I’m not sure that many people realize just how serious this is – and may become.

22. Apart from the multiple felonies involved, check US Code 2384 & 2385, for starters.

23. US Code 2384 – seditious conspiracy. 2385 – advocating overthrow of government.

24. No one should be in doubt. Trump IS the type to consider them both. He thinks BIG and means to drain the swamp.

Hillary was Secretary of State when Uranium One got past the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States — CFIUS in October 2010. She was also in charge of the Russian ‘reset’ since March 2009. (27)

Therefore, it is implausible that she was unaware of the impact of Uranium One, what Putin’s objectives were, particularly with a company called Tenam (28), which the FBI were watching as the firm’s operations expanded (29).

30. We know that Robert Mueller was ordered by HRC to deliver 10 grams of HEU to Russia in August 2009.

31. The official line is that the HEU was seized in Georgia (East Europe) in 2006 in a joint Georgia/CIA sting of a uranium smuggling gang.

32. I’ve always thought the story to be total BS. It’s as implausible as the Steele Dossier. You know what I think?

33. It was AMERICAN HEU. But anyway, I digress. American or not, it shows that Clinton KNEW that uranium was a national security asset.

34. Therefore, her failure at any time to oppose the deal at CFIUS – knowing what she knewis more than suspicious. It’s CRIMINAL.

35. Not only that, it is extremely difficult to believe that she was unaware of the MILLIONS flowing into the CF as all this was going on.

36. She ALSO failed to disclose these ‘donations’, in a clear breach of an agreement she made with POTUS Obama in 2008.

44. As more is revealed, the truly dangerous waters that the Clintons have led America into become clearer.

45. Because of them, Putin may well be selling US uranium (illegally) to Iran and NK. Or using it to bolster his own nuke arsenal.

46. THAT’S how serious this could be. Even that fact that the deal gave him leverage within the US energy market is astonishing.

47. Again, apart from.the many crimes committed here, Trump needs to at least consider US Code 2381 & 2382.

48. 2381 – Treason. 2382 – Misprision of Treason (concealment).

It is possible that Obama wanted to cover up Putin’s partial control over the uranium supply chain (51), causing him to make some strange decisions with regard to Russia (52). Then, along came the persistent accusation that Trump colluded with Russia in 2016.

56. The Russians DID interfere, as they always have. BUT Obama knew full well that the Trump-Russia smear was garbage.

60. ‘I’ll have more flexibility after the election’ [2012]

61. You only say this if you’ve agreed to do something but can’t deliver. And a POTUS saying this, to a Putin lackey? Totally BIZARRE.

In 2016, Hillary was furious with the DNC’s Donna Brazile after the Clinton-Trump Commander-in-Chief Forum hosted by NBC’s Matt Lauer. What she said is too foul to post, but this is part of it:

If [Trump] wins, we all hang from nooses!

More to come as news emerges. As Trump would say, ‘This is YUGE!’

In the meantime, please pray earnestly for President Trump’s safety. Also on October 24, a man embedded himself in the press pool at the Capitol building to throw Russian flags at the president, yelling, ‘Trump is treason!’ He was in close proximity to him. Scary. Where were the Secret Service agents?

This will be my final post about the presidential campaign prior to the election on November 8. Post-election analysis will follow later this week.

I have three big topics to cover: Clinton’s horrible people, voter fraud and voting for Democrats. This post is not for children or other vulnerable people.

If you have not already read yesterday’s post on Spirit Cooking, please do so. Yes, it involves the Clinton people.

Thankfully, faithful Christians in Los Angeles put up posters on Sunday condemning Hillary Clinton for having a Jezebel spirit. Gateway Pundit has photos and an article on the subject.

This is the poster, which mentions Ephesians 6:11:

Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.

Children and the Clinton people

I really want to give this section the title it deserves, substituting a Greek ‘p’ word for ‘children’, but I want to make sure everyone sees and reads it, so have toned it down.

Yesterday’s post also had a section by this title relating to the same sinful, egregious behaviour. As I said then, the Podesta emails from WikiLeaks have several references to pizza, cheese pizza, hot dogs and so on. One talks about a black and white pizza map handkerchief and pillows. The latter is a code word for drugs.

Please make sure you read that section along with the explanation of symbols and code words (here, here and here). If you have children or are in charge of young people, you really should read all of those links.

This is one of the grossest things ever.

It is not here gratuitously but rather to convince you to vote sensibly on Tuesday.

I did not believe it until I saw the following 3:21 minute long video. Not only does it look like Clinton advisers and insiders the Podesta brothers and James Alefantis (owner of Comet Ping Pong in DC, also involved in the Clinton Foundation) are connected with this, but it also explains what the codes mean. If you think these pizza and other food references are far-fetched, this will prove to you otherwise:

David Seaman, formerly of Huffington Post until he got sacked in August for questioning Hillary’s health, has an excellent 9+ minute video here of what WikiLeaks has exposed in this regard. ‘Walnuts’, he says, refers to little girls’ private parts. ‘Sauce’ means orgy:

On Sunday night I watched a longer video, 50+ minutes long. Stefan Molyneux led a discussion with Mike Cernovich (see Jezebel poster above) and blogger Vox Day, who looks very young at 48. It concerned the occult practices and child sexual abuse that WikiLeaks helped to expose, even if indirectly. Dozens of people, especially at The_Donald, started investigating people, places and connections. Some of their research has been featured on other alt-right sites, as I explained yesterday.

The reason I have included Molyneux’s discussion below is that he and Cernovich are unbelievers. Day, on the other hand, became a Christian as an adult. All are repulsed by the activity of the Clinton circle.

The final ten minutes really sum up what is happening here. This is the first time Cernovich and Molyneux have actually seen evil. Cernovich said he now thinks there could be something to Christianity, after all. Let’s hope so. Anyway, the upshot is that, as Day explained, Christians want to do God’s will whereas the NWO, Clinton people included, want to be gods themselves, hence the horrific means they will go to for power (fast forward to 40 minutes in):

That’s the best explanation I have heard for adults or younger people old enough to understand what’s going on with these devilish rituals and heinous sexual abuse. Even the unbelievers understood.

Keep in mind these horrible people go to church, too. Hillary occasionally attends a Methodist service and John Podesta has emailed about his Mass attendance! The devil never appears as himself but in disguise. Church is one of his best hideouts.

Voter fraud

Voter fraud has been going on in the United States in various places for decades. Democrats engineer it in the general election. Republicans do it in their own primaries, most notably this year in Ohio, Kansas and Maine.

When I was growing up, the jokey slogan in Chicago was ‘vote early, vote often’.

Here’s an anecdotal back catalogue of voting in Cleveland.

Philadelphia is well known for convicts and non-citizens voting, especially over the past 14 years.

More recently, in 2012, St Lucie County in Florida had a 158.85% voter turnout.

That same year in Virginia, Congressman Jim Moran’s son advised vote stealers to forge a utility bill in that person’s name. Around 100 legitimate voters could have been affected.

A YouTube from January 2008 shows how lax New Hampshire was in the presidential primary that year. They have procedures; the Secretary of State and his men deliberately chose not to follow them.

Also in 2008, the Podesta WikiLeaks (a 2015 email) revealed that Obama’s campaign had ‘flooded’ Colorado caucuses in primary season ‘with ineligible voters’.

Early in October, New York City election commissioner Alan Schulkin said he has an ongoing problem with voter fraud in poorer boroughs. Lefty mayor Bill de Blasio said Schulkin’s claims were ‘crazy’ and called on him to resign:

Big Media are trying to mislead you when they say that all this is a figment of Trump’s imagination. They know the truth. They just don’t want you to know it.

People take this lightly — and Hillary wouldn’t answer post-debate questions on the matter — but at least some, like this young Bernie Sanders supporter, have switched to Donald Trump because:

I don’t support people who steal my vote!

If you can, ask for a paper ballot.

Check your vote carefully before you leave the booth. If your vote has not been recorded as you cast it, please notify a polling official immediately.

Reporting fraud at a higher level

This section has contact points followed by states where voter fraud has been reported.

How to report it

What follows are various contacts at county and national levels.

If I were doing it, I’d probably email where possible.

Alex Jones: vote [at] infowars.com

In your state:

Where voter fraud has been occurring

California: In October, residents of a halfway house were promised a $300 rebate if they voted for Hillary.

Delaware: Vote flipping took place in the Democratic primary this year.

Florida: Broward County (October 26, incomplete ballot papers, opening the door to double voting). Trump campaign is suing. On October 28, two Dade County campaign operatives were arrested: one for illegally marking ballots for a particular local candidate in Miami and the other for registering non-existent persons or the dead.

Illinois: Thugs from Chicago have been bribing people in downstate Kankakee to vote Democratic. The local race there is reportedly very tight. HillBuzz has information about Chicago votes.

Indiana: On October 20, Indiana’s secretary of state found voter registration forms altered with discrepancies in personal details.

Maryland: 20-20 Watch has details of what occurred during the 2016 primary.

Texas: Mid-October reports in Nueces, Tarrant, Denton, Randall and Potter Counties: full details. There’s more on Tarrant County here. On October 25, Chambers County had to resort to paper ballots because of a machine ‘glitch’ that required a software update.

Anywhere: The Washington Post has reported that non-citizens have been voting since 2008. What a coincidence (not). Emphases mine below:

Because non-citizens tended to favor Democrats (Obama won more than 80 percent of the votes of non-citizens in the 2008 CCES sample), we find that this participation was large enough to plausibly account for Democratic victories in a few close elections. Non-citizen votes could have given Senate Democrats the pivotal 60th vote needed to overcome filibusters in order to pass health-care reform and other Obama administration priorities in the 111th Congress. Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) won election in 2008 with a victory margin of 312 votes. Votes cast by just 0.65 percent of Minnesota non-citizens could account for this margin. It is also possible that non-citizen votes were responsible for Obama’s 2008 victory in North Carolina. Obama won the state by 14,177 votes, so a turnout by 5.1 percent of North Carolina’s adult non-citizens would have provided this victory margin.

The article went on to say that voter ID has no effect. See the Alan Schulkin video above from New York.

On a similar line, in Virginia, the governor, Terry McAuliffe, recently pardoned 60,000 felons — giving them the right to vote in this election.

‘Mortal sin to vote Democrat’

In the Roman Catholic Diocese of San Diego, parishoners found an odd insert in their church bulletins on October 16.

NBC San Diego reported on the leaflet entitled ‘How to vote like a Catholic – it is a mortal sin to vote Democrat!’

The handout goes on to outline several political issues, including abortion, and notes the church’s stance on the topic. “Based on the above, it is mortal sin to vote Democrat,” adding that sin, if not confessed, “means eternal damnation,” the leaflet cautioned.

Two weeks later, parishioners received a second bulletin titled “Voting Catholic,” that again discussed social issues and implored them to take a “Catholic view.”

“The devil does this through the tactics outlined by Saul Alinsky with the outcome as Hillary Clinton has stated, ‘And deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases have to be change,’ to draw us away from God’s teachings regarding the sanctity of life to those of the world and its prince,” the leaflet said.

The Diocese knew nothing about these leaflets. Bishop Robert McElroy issued a statement:

Let me stress again that while we have a moral role to play in explaining how Catholic teaching relates to certain public policy issues, we must not and will not endorse specific candidates, use parish media or bulletins to favor candidates or parties through veiled language about selectively chosen issues, or engage in partisan political activity of any kind.

True.

It was a great guerilla move on someone’s part, though. Well done!

Not all of the San Diego cafeteria Catholics were impressed.

Nor was the Catholic priest who appears on Fox News impressed by these nuns:

With that, I leave you to vote. (Graphic below from The Conservative Treehouse).

Please pray that the better of the main parties’ candidates wins. Otherwise, this spells the end for America as the Great Republic.
